Challenge

The City of Phoenix is seeking a data governance and data management program solution to solve poor data management, siloed data, quality and multiple sources of the truth to provide data analytics and business intelligence services for our multiple city departments.

Background

 The City of Phoenix data is siloed throughout the city resulting in poor data management, quality and multiple sources of the truth which limits the ability to use data to drive decision making.  Data governance and data management is essential for the centralized information technology department to provide data analytics and business intelligence services to multiple city departments. 

Requirements & Outcome

 1.  Analyze the data and recommend industry best practices to establish a data governance and data management program to be established citywide. 

2.  Recommend best practices to transform the data into information to make data driven decisions.
