Challenge

The Long Beach Civil Service Department is seeking a user-friendly and customer service-oriented solution to provide virtual personalized assistance for our City job applicants.

Background

Providing in-person assistance for job applications is challenging and inconvenient to the public. Possible solution: allow job applicants the ability to seek assistance via video chat. Job applicants need a face-to-face individualize help with staff. Every job applicants' needs vary.

Requirements & Outcome

The Civil Service department seeks a solution that would have the following outcomes:

  • Ability for job applicants to get their questions answered quickly
  • Ability to interact with a live person in real time 
  • Ability to share screens
  • Ability to video chat conference and assist
